The canvas I paint on is now mostly 2nd hand.
My parents used to make clothes from 2nd hand clothing (before it was cool), but this had little impact on my decision to start using the canvas, except that they probably suggested the idea in the first place.
It's just so cheap. I was already working on the cheapest canvas I could get from the store, but it wouldn't be as big as the 2nd hand canvas.
So, together with my mom, we went to thrift stores close by home to see what they had in stock, and there I found this painting, made by some lady named Anita, in 2008.
I made a (meaningful) hole in this canvas, and there are reasons I did. But I won't just tell you. Look at the painting, and you'll understand that I had to. If you stare long enough, you'll understand.
To reiterate, it was not an accident. I made this hole by my own will, on purpose.
And that's the whole story.
Just a painting about how I made a cool hole, on purpose, not because I'm an idiot and did it on accident.
