  • Modern & Contemporary Masters

    This selection from the JK Art Foundation's international collection, displayed in the Quistvleugel, offers a broad overview of modern and contemporary art movements. It features works by artists such as Brueghel, Rubens, Mondriaan, Brancusi, Van Dongen, Picasso, Magritte, Delaunay, Fontana, Dalí, Modigliani, Lewitt, Dumas, Kapoor, Kusama, Tuymans, and Eliasson, exploring themes like art and reality, the human figure, and machines. The display includes both long-stored and recent pieces.
  • Old Masters

    The Noordbrabants Museum's Old Masters collection showcases art and artifacts primarily from the 16th and 17th centuries, with a focus on the Southern Netherlands (present-day Belgium) and the Dutch Golden Age. Highlights include works by Hieronymus Bosch and Pieter Bruegel the Elder, representing the artistic flourishing of their era. The collection also features a significant representation of Southern Netherlandish masters like Pieter Paul Rubens, Anthony van Dyck, and Jacob Jordaens, demonstrating the grandeur of Baroque art.   • Van Gogh In Brabant

    This collection is about Vincent van Gogh’s connection to Brabant. Van Gogh was born in Zundert, a small town near the Belgian border, and lived in the region for the first few years of his artistic career. He considered the region to be a major influence on his artistic development, and often painted scenes from the area. The museum’s collection of Van Gogh’s works includes paintings, letters, and personal documents. Visitors to Brabant can also visit other places that were important to Van Gogh, such as the Vincent van GoghHuis in Zundert and the Van Gogh Village Museum in Nuenen.
